February 9, 2023The City of Huntsville is increasing its budget for the new Hays Farm Park in South Huntsville. Huntsville upped its commitment from $3.6 million to $4.6 million for construction and development of the nine-acre park on Haysland Road. In turn, Hays Farm developer, Hylis Inc., led by John Hays, will provide another $1 million toward the project, bringing the total budget to $5.6 million.
