The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) will assist with traffic control for the Cotton Row Run from 7 a.m. to noon on Monday, May 30. Officers will be posted along the route to ensure runners’ safety. Areas impacted include downtown Huntsville, Blossomwood, Five Points, Old Town and Twickenham. Race routes can be found here. Drivers should use caution and expect delays in these areas.

An ordinance change approved by City Council will expand the footprint for brewpubs to operate in the Lincoln Mill area. The amendment updates the boundary to allow brewpubs to locate in areas north of downtown bounded by Meridian Street, Oakwood Avenue, Burbank Street, Hurst Avenue, Webster Drive and Abingdon Avenue.
