Huntsville Police arrested 38 yr. old Brian Andre Simpson tonight regarding a 2017 shooting. He is charged with murder and assault 1st. The murder victim, 26 yr. old Ladarius Turner, was shot along with a second victim, Cordarryl Toney, on Brookmanor Dr. in Huntsville on May 31st, 2017. Huntsville Police have arrested 19 yr old Travion Demond Evans and charged him with murder for the death of William Walker. Walker was shot on January 26th this year at an apartment complex in the Rime Village area. Walker was in a crowd of people in a parking lot that night when shots were fired. Infrastructure and Roads Council voted to approve a $7,560,203.21 contract with Reed Contracting Services to proceed with the Weatherly Road Extension. Huntsville Police Officer Curtis Mitchell has been booked into the Madison County Jail charged with DUI. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency served a warrant on Mitchell this morning stemming from a DUI incident this past weekend that is still under investigation. Officer Mitchell has been be placed on administrative duties with his badge and service weapon being taken, pending the outcome of the State’s investigation.

Huntsville Police booked 28 yr old Charles Anthony Mosby in the Madison County Jail yesterday at 830pm for the shooting on Binford Dr that occurred Jan 28th, 2018. He is charged with Capital Murder – During Robbery 1st Degree. He was located and detained in New Orleans, LA on March 6th by the US Marshalls and now has been extradited back to Huntsville. Huntsville Police have arrested 22 yr old Demetrius Deshawn Childs for the shooting death of Devonte Lashun Bone. Childs is charged with Capital Murder, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and Assault 2nd. He turned himself in to Huntsville Police at 8pm tonight.
