Fitness in the Park returns, offering free classes in a fun environment

The annual Fitness in the Park program is back for 2022 with new workouts, new energy, and new faces but the same goal – helping everyone discover the fun side of fitness. The Alabama Interscholastic Cycling League (AICL) will hold its final race of the regular season April 23-24 at the single-track mountain bike trail at John Hunt Park. Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle expressed his appreciation today to Gov. Kay Ivey for approving three critical infrastructure projects. Gov. Ivey on Thursday pledged 60% in state funds for the projects, which are also in Round 2 of the Huntsville-area Restore Our Roads plan (ROR2).
