City of Huntsville announces Good Friday closures

Because garbage collection occurs Monday-Thursday, there will be no change to service.

Huntsville Transit will operate a normal schedule for both Orbit fixed-route buses and Access paratransit service Friday and Saturday.

All Huntsville Parks & Recreation facilities will close Friday but operate on a normal schedule Saturday. All facilities will close Sunday, April 17, in observance of Easter.

Huntsville Animal Services will close Friday but remain open its normal Saturday hours, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Essential police and fire personnel will be on duty throughout the holiday weekend.
