HUNTSVILLE – In honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15, Mayor Tommy Battle extends his deep appreciation to law enforcement officers for their sacrifice and commitment to keeping Huntsville safe. The City of Huntsville and Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency are closely monitoring an ongoing situation created by a temporary shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline. Company officials announced the pipeline would restart Wednesday evening, but explained it could take “several days” for the supply chain to return to normal levels.
