Several local agencies serving Huntsville’s more vulnerable residents will receive nearly $500,000 in Emergency Solutions Grant funds from the City of Huntsville. Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is waiving adoption fees on most adult dogs this week to help them find loving, caring homes before the Thanksgiving holiday. Additionally, adult cats can be adopted for $10, though some are also free to a good home. Kittens and puppies are $50.
