The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices and Municipal Court will be closed Friday, April 2, in observance of Good Friday. City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, April 5. Huntsville Transit will operate a normal schedule for both Orbit fixed-route buses and Access paratransit services. Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle on Thursday announced the appointments of Bernita Reese as director of Huntsville Parks & Recreation and Quisha Riche as director of Parking & Public Transit.
