Eight local organizations will soon receive grant funds from the City of Huntsville through a program with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Huntsville City Council voted unanimously to change the name of the City’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) back to the Office of Multicultural Affairs, a title previously used from 2008 to 2021. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) continues to investigate the case of Ronald Leslie Dumas Jr., who has been missing for over a month since his disappearance was first reported.
