Traffic Alert: High school graduation road closures

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) anticipates heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic near the Von Braun Center on the afternoon and evening of Monday, May 15, due to graduation ceremonies.

Monroe Street between Clinton Avenue and the intersection of Monroe and Williams Avenue will be closed in both directions.

Officers from HPD Traffic Services Unit will assist with traffic control. Access to the road closure area will be restricted to limited mobility drop-off and accessibility parking only.

Please use caution when traveling downtown.
