December 12 is Election Day. On the ballot are  renewals of existing school property taxes  for Madison County, Huntsville City and Madison City Schools. This represents $58M in funding for local schools.

The City of Huntsville is seeking  proposal for the Johnson High  campus to create a distinctive and sustainable mixed-use development on the site.
