November Residential Permits are Up
In November, 131 housing units were permitted , a 45.5% increase year over year, when 90 housing units were permitted during the same time period.
This Addition is an “Ace”
The City Council approved construction of a new sand volleyball complex at John Hunt Park. It will have 12 courts and an event pavilion and locker room.
For the Kids
Huntsville/Madison County voters approved the renewal property taxes devoted to education, representing $58.5 million in critical funding.
Missiles and Helicopters Flying Off the Shelves
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced foreign military sales of $41.93 billion for FY17. This represents an increase of $8.33 billion over FY16 sales.
