BASF Expansion
BASF celebrated production of its 400 millionth automotive catalytic converter and an expansion of its plant in Huntsville that will create 10 new jobs.
Good news for real estate
North Alabama Multiple Listing Service reports Huntsville area home sales totaled 630 units in July, an increase of 7.9% year over year. Year to date sales increased 11.3%. The median sales price in July was $207,000, an increase of 8.9% year over year.
Dream’s alive
Huntsville International Airport signed a contract to apply for licensing through the FAA to land Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Dream Chaser.

The Avenue announced a new tenant to downtown Huntsville. Oshi Poké Bowl and Sushi will specialize in Asian-fusion cuisine.
