Huntsville area’s growth
Alabama’s population could increase by 500,000 by 2040, says The University of Alabama. In the Huntsville Metro, Madison County could grow to 451,043 from 334,811 and Limestone County could grow to 126,617 from 82,782.
The Huntsville Metro grew by 15 people a day from 2015-2016, according to new Census data.
Big congrats
The Ed Mitchell International Intermodal Center at Huntsville International Airport celebrated 30 years of cargo transport.

New coffee shop
Honest Coffee Roasters opened a pop-up shop at U.G. White and Frios Gourmet Pops opened in downtown Huntsville.
