Aerojet Rocketdyne is adding 700 jobs in Huntsville to develop, manufacture, and manage next-generation rocket engines.

Publix expansion

Publix is continuing to expand in Huntsville. It will anchor the recently announced Shoppes at Redstone Square with plans to open in August 2018.

A space-themed brewery? YES PLEASE.

A new microbrewery is planning to open in the area near Campus No. 805. InnerSpace will be space-themed and open next to Salty Nut.

Easter spending

The National Retail Federation believes consumers will spend about $18.4 billion this year for Easter. That’s up from the previous record set last year of $17.3 billion.
