One Dead Following Saturday Night Shooting

Huntsville Police are investigating the shooting death of George Carl Jarrett (3/12/1983) of Meridianville, Al.  On Saturday September 30, 2017 at approximately 6:50 PM Huntsville Police received a call about a traffic accident near the intersection of Adventist Boulevard and Wynn Drive.  Upon arriving the driver of the vehicle was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound.  Investigators believe the victim was shot while driving along Adventist Boulevard and ran off the road as a result of his injury.  The victim, 34 year old George Jarrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
