One Arrested After Shooting into Vehicle Monday Night

Huntsville Police have charged Reginald Scott, 18 of Huntsville, in connection to a shooting into a car and a police chase Monday night.
Officers responded to a call of gunshots in the 4000 block of Summerhill Drive around 10:00 p.m. Monday night. Responding officers attempted to stop a car leaving the area and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended when Scott crashed into a car near the intersection of Pulaski Pike and Stringfield Road. Scott ran from the vehicle but was captured a few minutes later in a wooded area. Officers also recovered a handgun believed to have been used. No one was seriously injured in the accident.
It appears that Scott fired shots into a vehicle on Summerhill Drive following an altercation with someone, before fleeing from police. No one was injured in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
