Mayor Battle speaks at the 15th annual National Cyber Summit news conference.

“It’s always a pleasure welcoming the brilliant minds and experts in the cyber world,” Mayor Battle said. “What started as a modest group with a keen interest in computer and network security has blossomed into our dynamic Cyber Huntsville initiative. This initiative has significantly boosted Huntsville’s reputation on the global cybersecurity stage.”

Attendees will gain knowledge from top experts from the Army, National Security Agency, Critical Infrastructure Security Consortium, Idaho National Laboratory and Deloitte as well as participate in more than 50 cutting-edge technician talks and education sessions. There will also be networking opportunities with the Department of Defense, civilian agencies and industries such as healthcare, finance and technology.

“We have over 175 speakers over four tracks,” NCS Director Steve Pratt said. “These are highly respected cybersecurity professionals that will cover a lot of great topics. We expect over 3,000 attendees. We have a new track this year, artificial intelligence in cyber and we’re excited to hear more about that. We’ll have a job fair and a lot of different things for everyone to participate in.”

The NCS will be held at the Von Braun Center. For a full schedule or to register for the summit, click here .
