Man Charged with Murder after Domestic Violence Stabbing

Huntsville Police have charged 43 year old year old Corey Johnson with Murder following a stabbing on Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to a call of a cutting victim at a home in the 2600 block of Del Norte Lane Wednesday around 5:00 p.m.  The victim, 42 year old Candice Wilson of Huntsville, was found in a bedroom with multiple stab wounds and died on the scene.  Officers took 43 year old Corey Johnson of Huntsville into custody at the scene.

After further investigation it was determined that Wilson and Johnson lived together in the residence and the stabbing was domestic violence related.  Johnson was treated for minor self-inflicted injuries and charged with Domestic Violence-Murder.
