Huntsville Police Submit Housing Authority Grant for Approval

The Huntsville Police Department will be introducing a Federal Grant at tonight’s city council meeting to increase funding for additional patrols in Huntsville Housing Authority properties across the city.  These additional funds, procured through a partnership with Huntsville Housing Authority, will increase officer visibility and not only help deter crime and build relationships in the community as well.

The Huntsville City Council is set to vote on the approval of this grant at tonight’s regularly scheduled Council meeting.
