Huntsville Police North Precinct to host monthly family fun night

Grab your friends and family and join the Huntsville Police Department (HPD) for an evening of free fun as well as hamburgers and ice-cold refreshments.

HPD’s North Precinct is hosting its monthly family fun night event on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 5-7 p.m. at the Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center, 3011 Sparkman Drive. All ages are welcome.

“We like to host these community events because it gives the department an opportunity to meet our residents, get into the community and build relationships,” said Capt. Tony McElyea. “Last month’s community event was a success and we’re hoping the momentum continues to build.”

The event will feature an inflatable water slide, bounce house, children’s bicycle raffle and more.
