Healthy Huntsville Walking Challenge Joins Botanical Garden Fidos After 5

The Healthy Huntsville team is offering another opportunity to log miles in the Mayor’s 100 Mile – 100 Day Walking Challenge at the Botanical Garden “Fidos After 5” weekly event.

Parks & Recreation and Animal Services Huntsville Botanical Garden to host a one-mile dog friendly walk on Thursday, September 29, at 5:30 p.m.  Walkers may bring their dogs for a round of exercise, or host one of the Shelter’s adoptable pets. They’ll keep walkers in step – and maybe find a loving new home. The Botanical Garden is waving its admission fee for those participating in the walk.

The 100- Mile 100-Day Walking Challenge runs through December 1. For more information on the fitness challenge, or to register for prizes, visit huntsvilleal.gov/walkingchallenge.
