Finding A Way To A New Home
Published on January 1, 2019
Just like the upcoming movie, A Dog’s Way Home, Huntsville’s Shelter pets are looking to find their way into a new home. From January 2 – 12, the Shelter is offering an adoption promotion to help homeless pets find a home and loving family for as little as $20.
All adoptions offer the same special package: rabies vaccination, city license, microchip for pet identification, and spay or neuter surgery. New pet owners will also receive a free bag of dry dog food, while supplies last. Exceptions may apply to specific pets.
The Huntsville Animal Shelter is located at 4950 Triana Boulevard. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Shelter will be closed Tuesday, January 1, in recognition of New Years Day.
