Expansion of Meals on Wheels program

Council Member John Meredith lauded the work done by the Studio 60 Senior Center Meals on Wheels program. Through a collaborative effort with Studio 60 Executive Director Tom Glynn, Council Member Meredith expects there will be an expansion of services to serve homebound seniors who live in District 5 in the near future.

The program provides a meal each weekday to those 60+ who cannot cook for themselves due to health reasons or have no one to cook for them. More than 58,000 meals were provided last year by Studio 60 for homebound seniors in Huntsville.
