City of Huntsville announces Good Friday closures

Because garbage collection occurs Monday-Thursday, there will be no change to service.

Huntsville Transit will operate a normal schedule for both Orbit fixed-route buses and Access paratransit services.

All Huntsville Parks & Recreation facilities are closed Friday but will operate on a normal schedule Saturday and close Sunday for Easter.

Huntsville Animal Services will close Friday but be open its normal Saturday hours, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Essential police and fire personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday weekend.
