Huntsville City Council certifies municipal election results, declares runoff races

- Bill Kling – District 4 City Council Member
- Ryan Renaud – District 4 Board of Education Member
- Holly McCarty – District 2 Board of Education Member
In a separate action, having opened and counted provisional ballots with City Clerk-Treasurer Ken Benion, the Council declared a runoff election for District 2 City Council and District 3 Board of Education. Voters will choose between District 2 City Council candidates David Little and Bill Yell and District 3 Board of Education candidates Andrea Alvarez and Angela McClure on Sept. 20.
