City of Huntsville, EMA monitoring effects of pipeline shutdown

The City of Huntsville and Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency are closely monitoring an ongoing situation created by a temporary shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline. Company officials announced the pipeline would restart Wednesday evening, but explained it could take “several days” for the supply chain to return to normal levels. Two new-to-Huntsville restaurants were among the list of non-residential permits issued in March. More than 1,000 housing units were permitted last month.
