With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is inviting community members to give a homeless pet a lucky break. In honor of the annual observance, HAS is slashing adoption fees for some dogs as part of a “Dog Gone Lucky” promotion, which runs through March 19. The City of Huntsville’s Beautification Board is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Huntsville Beautification Awards. The deadline to submit the 2022 entry form and $25 fee for each property nominated has been extended to Tuesday, April 15. Judging will take place after Memorial Day.
