911 Day of Remembrance

Huntsville Fire & Rescue along with HPD and HEMSI will be taking part in a Day of Remembrance on September 11 th 2016 at Huntsville Fire Station #1 located at 2110 Clinton Avenue.
The ceremony will start promptly at 7:40 am. At 7:46am all Emergency Vehicles shall turn on lights, sirens and air horns for 30 seconds, followed by a flag lowering to half-staff and end with the pledge of the allegiance.
All Fire Station in the City of Huntsville shall be participating at their perspective stations. We are asking the media to arrive a little early as to not disrupt the ceremony and to attend the event at Fire Station 1. Citizens are also welcome to attend at a local Fire Station.
