Annual Trail Of Tears Ride

The Huntsville Police Department want to warn motorists about the closing of West bound I565 entrance ramps tomorrow, Saturday September 15th, through the City of Huntsville and Madison County from approximately between 9am-10am for the Trail of Tears Motorcyclists. Mayor Tommy Battle presented the City’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2019 to City Council at the Sept. 13, regularly scheduled meeting. On September 11, 2018, Agents with the Madison-Morgan County STAC Team, DEA, ATF, ALEA, Huntsville Police, Huntsville SWAT, Huntsville K-9, and Decatur OCU, executed 8 search warrants in the Huntsville area. These warrants were obtained and executed after a lengthy investigation into Thomas Michael Watson and his involvement in a Heroin Trafficking Organization.
