The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Devontae Sherrod Moore, 27, with murder following a shooting incident on Monday, July 12. Officers were dispatched around 11 p.m. to the 100 block of Indiana Street and discovered Kentonio Perkins, 22, deceased. HPD Major Crimes Unit Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a verbal altercation. Moore is currently being booked into the Madison County Jail with a $75,000 bond.
