On August 24, 2018, Huntsville Fire & Rescue responded to a duplex fire located at 3700 block of Alpine Street, Huntsville. On arrival, heavy smoke and flames were reported. Firefighter’s initial attack were from the outside to a second story window to cool the area so an interior attack could take place. Huntsville Police have arrested twenty-two year old William Eric Wooden for the shooting death of Kevin Ray Stewart. He is being booked in the Madison County jail at this time for Capital Murder. Officers were called at approximately 8:57pm on August 27, 2018 to the area of 237 Wade Rd reference a shooting.
