Huntsville man charged with murder after fatal shooting

A Huntsville man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting on Saturday, Oct. 12. Huntsville Police responded to the 4000 block of Pulaski Pike at 10:50 a.m., where they found Jamie Darquez Cawthorne, 32, of Huntsville, deceased from gunshot wounds. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) arrested and charged Dequerius Amar Clayborn, 27, of Huntsville with reckless murder and first-degree assault in connection to a shooting on Saturday, Oct. 19, on Binford Drive. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) promoted four Investigators, five Sergeants and two Lieutenants on Monday, Oct. 14. During a special ceremony, Officers Ryan Burch, Edward C.
