The City of Huntsville invites the community to a ribbon-cutting to open the new playground at the Sandra Moon Community Complex on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. Joining Mayor Tommy Battle will be District 3 Council Member Jennie Robinson, Country Commissioner Phil Riddick and Huntsville Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. Before the ribbon cutting at 1:30 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance at the South Huntsville Library and lead a march to the new playground.
The Complex is located at 7901 Bailey Cove Road .
