The City of Huntsville’s Urban & Long Range Planning Department will host a public input session related to its Vision Zero Huntsville – Multimodal Safety Action Plan from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in the middle school cafetorium at Morris School, 4801 Bob Wallace Ave. SW, Huntsville.
In a resolution passed in 2022, the City committed to zero roadway fatalities and serious injuries by 2055. City officials are seeking input from citizens on how to improve roadway safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, drivers, and those who take public transit. Huntsville Transit will provide free rides to and from the meetings, and all meeting facilities are ADA-accessible.
