The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) will hold a promotional ceremony on Monday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. inside the Council Chamber at Huntsville City Hall. Mayor Tommy Battle and HPD Police Chief Kirk Giles will deliver remarks at the event.
The 11 officers being promoted bring nearly 145 years of law enforcement experience to their new roles. They will work in various positions and join the department’s 700 sworn and civilian personnel members.
