Mayor Tommy Battle will join Huntsville’s Preservation Planner Katie Stamps and other stakeholders to unveil a historic marker in the historic Edmonton Heights neighborhood on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at 100 Wilkenson Drive .
In June 2021, the National Park Service listed Edmonton Heights to the National Register of Historic Places. It was the City’s first historically Black residential neighborhood to be listed.
