The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices will be closed for all non-essential personnel in observance of the Christmas holiday on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25 and will reopen on Monday, December 28.

Garbage Collection : No schedule change for the Christmas Holiday and Week.

Public Transit : Orbit and Access Huntsville will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 24 and will not be in service on Friday, December 25. Normal operating hours will resume on Saturday, December 26.

Animal Services : The shelter on 3950 Triana Boulevard will be closed Thursday – Saturday, December 24-26.

Parks & Recreation : All Parks & Recreation facilities will be closed December 24-25 and reopen on Saturday, December 26.
