The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices will be closed for all non-essential personnel in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. Offices reopen on Monday, November 30.

Garbage Collection : Thursday’s residential curbside collection will be picked up on Friday, November 27.

Public Transit : Orbit buses and paratransit service (Access) will not be in service on Thursday, November 26. Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, November 27.

Huntsville Animal Services : The Huntsville Animal Shelter will be closed on Thursday, November 26, Friday, November 27, and Saturday, November 28. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, November 30.

Parks & Recreation: Huntsville recreation centers will be closed on Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27, with the exception of the Johnson Legacy Center which will reopen on Friday, November 27.
