The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices will be closed for all non-essential personnel on Presidents Day, Monday, February 17, and reopen on Tuesday, February 18.

Garbage Collection : Monday’s residential curbside collection will be picked up on Tuesday, February 18. Households whose normal garbage pick-up day is on Thursday will have their garbage collected on Friday, February 21.

Public Transit :  Shuttle bus and paratransit service (Handi-Ride) will be in service on Monday, February 17.

Parks & Recreation : Recreation centers and facilities will be closed on Monday, February 17 and will reopen on Tuesday, February 18.

Animal Services : The Animal Shelter and Animal Services will be closed on Monday, February 17 and will reopen on Tuesday, February 18.

Municipal Court : Municipal Court will be closed on Monday, February 17 and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, February 18.

Public Safety: Police and Fire essential personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday.
