‘A Claus for Celebration’ – District 1 Holiday Event

District 1 Council Member Michelle Watkins invites the community to join her at “A Claus for Celebration” on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 5-7 p.m., at Johnson Legacy Center and Legacy Park. The event will feature live performances by the Jemison High School Band and Choir, photos with Santa and plenty of free hot chocolate. The evening will culminate with a tree-lighting ceremony. Huntsville Parks & Recreation will collect new or gently used coats, hats and gloves as part of their ongoing Cozy Care Holiday Drive.
