Pratt Avenue Streetscape Improvements

SUMMARY

Streetscape Improvements along Pratt Avenue between Grayson Street to Maysville Road consisting of curb and gutter, parallel parking, sidewalks and landscape medians. Street resurfacing along Pratt Avenue between Russell Street and Grayson Street.

STATUS

Construction contract was awarded to Grayson Carter and Son Contracting in January 2024, and construction began in April 2024. Drainage installation is complete, and grading and concrete work are approximately 90% complete. Paving and median island construction will begin after the grading is complete. Single lane closures are being utilized during off peak hours while contractors are working. Project is anticipated to be complete by the Spring of 2025 depending upon weather and utility conflicts.
