Huntsville Northern Bypass Phases II & III

SUMMARY
This project extends the Northern bypass from U.S. 231 (North Memorial Parkway) to U.S. 72 East. It is scheduled to be completed in two phases: from U.S. 231 to Winchester Road, and from Winchester Road to U.S. 72.
The Northern Bypass is designed to be part of the City’s future “loop” road, improving and connecting roadways from Research Park Boulevard to Martin Luther King Boulevard, Bob Wade Lane, North Memorial Parkway, Winchester Road, 72 East, 431 South, Cecil Ashburn Drive, and South Memorial Parkway.
STATUS
Environmental studies and site assessments are continuing. Public Involvement meeting will be scheduled once the assessments are completed.
