Impaired Driving Citizens Academy

The Huntsville Police Department Impaired Driving Citizens Academy gives citizens firsthand information on the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. It provides an excellent opportunity for citizens to interact with the DUI Task Force.

The one-day program involves classroom and interactive instruction. Students will meet on Saturday, May 13, from 1-5 p.m.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Be a resident, college student or business owner in the City of Huntsville
  • No prior felony convictions
  • No outstanding warrants
  • No pending criminal cases

Cameras, recording devices and weapons (regardless of whether you have a pistol permit) are prohibited while attending. Attendees must wear appropriate attire and present a neat and clean appearance.
