Find your rhythm at Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s Healthy Hearts Expo

The event will be Monday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mark Russell Recreation Center, 429 Taylor Road, Owens Cross Roads. It will focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle physically, mentally and financially.

Attendees will have the chance to explore community vendor tables offering valuable resources and participate in a full schedule of activities aimed at improving overall well-being. Highlights include:

  • 9:30 a.m. – Be Healthy Online!: How to safeguard your online profile
  • 10 a.m. – Free line dancing class and a pickleball demonstration
  • 10:30 a.m. – Organized Home = Less Stress!: Tips on organizing your home for a stress-free life
  • 11:30 a.m. – Pickleball demonstration

“Healthy Hearts Expo is a great way for our 50-plus residents to learn more about healthy lifestyle choices, from keeping them safe online to simple ways to stay active and healthy,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “It’s also a great opportunity for those who haven’t visited the Mark Russell Recreation Center to explore the facility and the many programs we offer.”
