STAC TEAM ARRESTS

The Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) has been busy wrapping up two very important narcotics cases the past several weeks that resulted in the arrest of Ismael Fuentes Sanchez, Oscar Alfredo Solano Roman and Celerino Sanchez Hernandez. These investigations have resulted in several arrests and seizure of both cash and illegal narcotics with a street value of over $200,000.
On April 24, 2018, agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) executed two search warrants after a month long investigation. Agents initially searched the residence at 3207 Normandale Drive and located approximately one (1) pound of marijuana, approximately (1) ounce of cocaine and $4,400.00 in US Currency. Agents discovered that the offender Celerino Sanchez Hernandez also had a storage facility rented at a local business. Agents responded to the area and waited on Huntsville Police K-9 to arrive. Once the K-9 arrived he alerted to one of the lockers. Agents obtained a search warrant for that locker and once the warrant was signed agents executed it. Inside the storage locker, which was in Hernandez’s name, agents located approximately 15 pounds of high grade marijuana. Hernandez was arrested and transported to the Metro Jail without incident.
On April 25, 2018, agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force along with agents of the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force received information that two (2) Hispanic males would be arriving at a local business to deliver a quantity of “Ice”. Agents set up in the area and watched as the Hispanic males parked. Once they parked, agents approached the vehicle and secured both offenders. Agents searched the vehicle and located approximately four (4) ounces of “Ice”. Agents located paperwork which listed the offenders address. Agents went to the address and spoke with the occupants and received consent to search the residence. During that consent, agents located approximately six (6) pounds of “Ice” at the residence. Agents arrested Ismael Fuentes Sanchez and Oscar Alfredo Solano Roman for Trafficking in Methamphetamine “Ice”. Both offenders were given a $100,000 bond.
