STAC Agents Seize Meth, Cocaine and Guns

Agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) have charged 47 year old Martin Acevedo of Huntsville with drug trafficking. 

The arrest was the result of a search warrant served at his business, ROF Used Tires, in the 11000 block of South Memorial Parkway on October 21.  The search warrant was the culmination of a lengthy investigation involving the trafficking of large amounts of methamphetamine in the area.  The search warrant resulted in the seizure of over 3 pounds of methamphetamine (Ice), 3 ounces of cocaine, 2 handguns and almost $1,000 in cash.  The drugs have an estimated street value of over $163,000

Martin is charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Trafficking in Cocaine.  The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
