STAC Agents Make Drug Trafficking Arrest

Agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) have charged 33 year old Sarena Cawthorn of Huntsville with multiple drug charges.

On November 18, STAC Agents were conducting an investigation that led them to the 500 block of Nance Road.  Searches were conducted at several locations and as a result STAC Agents recovered 432 grams of cocaine, 48 grams of crack cocaine, 584 ecstasy tablets, 277 grams of molly, 363 Xanax bars, and 13 grams of marijuana.  They recovered a total of 455 grams of MDMA.  The street value of all the drugs is estimated at over $77,000. 

Cawthorn was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, Trafficking in MDMA, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
