SBI investigating shooting death

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) responded to a domestic violence call in the 2100 block of Chadburn Drive shortly after midnight on Saturday, Feb. 4.

While officers were attempting to make contact with an armed individual involved, the individual was shot and killed. No officers were injured during the incident.

Per protocol, HPD requested the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) lead the investigation following the incident. Please direct any further questions about the incident to SBI.
