A section of Pratt Avenue will reduce to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane from Dickson to Dement streets, beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30. The lanes will close for six months while crews relocate utilities and install drainage systems.

Weather permitting, Berkley Road between the intersections of Cobb and Burress roads will temporarily close from 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, for sanitary sewer improvements.
Traffic control will be in place to direct vehicles around the construction site. Please use caution in the area.
Weather permitting, Madison Street Southwest between St. Clair Avenue and Governors Drive will temporarily close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, for a road construction project.

Weather permitting, the east side of the intersection of Jefferson Street and Holmes Avenue will close to through traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, for infrastructure improvements.
Immediately following the completion of the east side of the intersection, the west side of the intersection will close to through traffic for approximately four weeks or through Oct. 27. One lane will remain open on Jefferson Street, but Holmes Avenue will be closed to through traffic during this time.

Weather permitting, Gallatin Street between Sivley Road and Governors Drive will close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, for construction work.

Weather permitting, the intersection of Plummer and Johns roads will close to through traffic for approximately two weeks beginning Monday, Sept. 19, at 8:30 a.m. When reopened, Johns Road will be a stop condition with through movement on Plummer Road.
During construction, traffic control will be in place to detour all traffic to Research Park Boulevard as well as Dan Tibbs and Oakwood roads.
Weather permitting, two northbound lanes of Monroe Street in downtown Huntsville will temporarily close for stormwater sewer improvements starting at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, through 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16. The lanes will close again from 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, through 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23.

Weather permitting, the westbound lane of Clinton Avenue east of Jefferson Street will temporarily close beginning Monday, Aug. 29, at 7 a.m. The eastbound lane will remain open as crews complete streetscape work through Friday, Sept. 9.
Businesses and the parking garage along Clinton Avenue will be open and accessible during this time. Motorists should use caution and take alternate routes to avoid congestion. Traffic control will be in place to detour drivers around the area.
